Objective/ Purpose:
- Ensure smooth functioning of the plant.
- Suggest training for subordinates
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, agree and implement site plans as per manufacturing plans for meeting customer schedules.
- Ensure all products are produced as per correct specification
- Enhance the level of product quality and reduce packaging rejects
- Establish the daily output standards and ensure that they are adhered to by all concerned
- Effective use of manpower and plant on a daily/weekly basis to ensure that daily/weekly plans are met
- Daily interaction & monitoring with planning and purchase function to ensure that all materials required for planned are available.
- Implementation of Plant/Process improvements to bring about better quality of products at a lower cost.
- Prepare, monitor and control the site Budgets.
- Identify employee training and development requirements with a view to improve productivity.
- Implementation and adherence to company policies.
- Ensure that an effective Health and Safety Policy is implemented and all unsafe practices are eliminated.
- Ensure that the Maintenance schedules are followed.
- Ensure that the site is maintained in a safety and hygienic condition.
- Provide leadership and guidance to subordinate with a view to enable them to excel and grow within the organization.
- Design and implement suitable schemes for motivation of employees through productivity incentive.
- Ensure proper liaison with regulatory authorities/ health authorities / equipment suppliers and Private Label customers.
- Keep abreast of latest developments in the field of Manufacturing and ensure dissemination of information to the company.
