Manager Category (flour) Coatings & FHT

Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for the Sales & FHT products of the Business. Incumbent will be expected to drive revenues, margins and innovation for the category working closely with direct and indirect stakeholders. Incumbent is expected to manage and influence both internal and external customers. The Technical and Commercial functions will report to this role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Identify, develop and capture new business opportunities for assigned products specifically targeted at B2B customers such as food manufacturers and culinary food producers across the region.
2. The key driver of revenues will be through B2B & Food Service Channels.
3. Provide market intelligence, direction to the R & D team on library creation and be part of the Functional.
4. Provide insights on Flour and Taste Systems business core team in developing business strategy.
5. Engage and develop relationships with key customers across the region.
6. Develop proposals alongside sales and R&D.
7. Ensure that appropriate resources are provided to fulfil the company HSE policy.
8. Provide competitor analysis and intelligence on seasonings business in the region.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

● Sales, Margins and Profits
● New Customers additions
● Product portfolio expansion

Work Experience:

1. 10 + yrs’ experience in an international role, preferred.
2. Experience in a Flour based ingredients segment is necessary.
3. Experience in the UAE / GCC region and Levant is an advantage.
4. Export Sales Management experience is necessary .
5. Experience in developing Distributors Is an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills:

● Specialty Flour, Functional Blends and Coating application Product Knowledge.
● Experience of customer alliances in the region.
● Track record of having built a successful business.
● Functional blends business.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s Degree in (Food sciences) or Business Administration from a reputed university.
● Masters Preferable
